Associate Dean Graduate Programs e Full Professor della University Canada West

Michele Vincenti, born in Taranto in 1958, is an Italian economist with a solid academic and managerial career at the international level. He is currently the Associate Dean for Graduate Studies at University Canada West, the first person in the university’s history to hold this position.

In 2004 he completed an MBA at Royal Roads University and went on to earn both a PhD (2013) and a master’s degree (2008) in Human Organizational Systems from Fielding University in California.

His academic career began in 2005 at Royal Roads University, where he quickly became Director of Consulting Projects for the MBA programs. That same year, he started teaching at UCW, where he played a key role in the institution’s growth and also facilitated the 2011 transition of ownership to the Global University System group. From 2017 to 2020, he led the MBA department, expanding the academic offerings and increasing enrollment to 2,500 students. He later proposed the creation of three new departments and took charge of the one focused on Leadership and Human Resources, overseeing around one hundred faculty members. In 2024, he organized the 18th World Conference of Italian Researchers Abroad in Vancouver and participated in the 19th edition held in 2025 at the European Parliament in Brussels.

In parallel, Vincenti has had a significant entrepreneurial career. From 1999 to 2008, he served as Director of the Wealth Management Division at Evergreen Savings Credit Union. In 2004, he founded Alvana Business Consulting, a firm specializing in leadership, human resources, and financial support for startups. In 2024, he was appointed Chief Digital/AI Center Strategic Officer at the U.S.-based organization The Rob Rockefeller Standard Carbon LLC. Michele Vincenti, nato a Taranto nel 1958, è un economista italiano con una solida carriera accademica e manageriale a livello internazionale. Attualmente è Associate Dean per gli Studi Post-Laurea della University Canada West, il primo nella storia dell’università a ricoprire questo ruolo.

Nel 2004 completa un MBA presso la Royal Roads University. Prosegue poi la sua formazione con un dottorato di ricerca e un master in Sistemi Organizzativi Umani alla Fielding University in California.

La sua carriera accademica inizia nel 2005 alla Royal Roads University, dove in breve tempo diventa direttore dei progetti di consulenza per i corsi MBA. Nello stesso anno inizia a insegnare presso la UCW, contribuendo in modo significativo allo sviluppo dell’ateneo, facilitando anche la transizione della proprietà nel 2011 verso il gruppo Global University System. Dal 2017 al 2020 guida il dipartimento MBA, ampliando l’offerta accademica e portando gli iscritti a 2.500 studenti. Successivamente propone la creazione di tre nuovi dipartimenti e assume la guida di quello dedicato alla Leadership e Risorse Umane, coordinando circa cento docenti. Nel 2024 organizza a Vancouver la XVIII Conferenza mondiale dei ricercatori italiani nel mondo e partecipa nel 2025 alla XIX edizione presso il Parlamento Europeo a Bruxelles.

Parallelamente, Vincenti ha avuto una significativa carriera imprenditoriale. Dal 1999 al 2008 è Direttore della Divisione Wealth Management della Evergreen Savings Credit Union. Nel 2004 fonda Alvana Business Consulting, società di consulenza focalizzata su leadership, risorse umane e supporto alle start-up in ambito finanziario.
