Innovation Manager with Generali in Luxembourg, designing transformation strategies and digital innovation projects.

Prior to this as a freelancer he ran several EU funded projects designing digital social innovations for environmental sustainability.

Stephen was director of partnerships and cultural relations programmes for the British Council in Italy for five years until September 2016, establishing many projects in the social and creative economy.

In 2007 he set up and ran Fourmile.eu, advising investment funds and third sector organisations on sustainable energy policies and investment opportunities.

He previously worked with Edelman in Brussels, and a tech start up in Pisa where he coordinated international R&D projects funded by the EC.

He has a Masters in Innovation Management from Pisa University and graduated in Political science and French from Edinburgh University.
