Germano Dottori è consigliere scientifico di Limes, rivista italiana di Geopolitica. Ha insegnato Studi Strategici presso la Luiss-Guido Carli. È stato assieme a Giuseppe Cucchi per tre anni curatore di Nomos & Khaos, annuario economico-strategico di Nomisma.

Ha scritto ‘La visione di Trump‘, Salerno Editrice. Con Carlo Jean, ‘Guerre Umanitarie‘. Con Massimo Amorosi, ‘La Nato dopo l’11 settembre‘, Cemiss-Rubettino. Ed inoltre ‘Un’Intelligence per il XXI secolo‘, Rivista Militare.

Svolge attività di consulenza in Parlamento dal 1996 nei campi della politica estera, di sicurezza e difesa. È stato consigliere per gli affari delegati del Sottosegretario alla Difesa Raffaele Volpi.

Germano Dottori, born in Rome in 1964, taught Strategic Studies at Luiss-Guido Carli University in Rome and is currently a member of the Scientific Board of Limes, the Italian Review of Geopolitics. He has contributed to the Rivista Italiana di Difesa (Italian Defence magazine) since 1997.

Advisor to the chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee between 2001 and 2006. He has published books and researches in Italy and Great Britain on security and defence, in particular on the Trump foreign policy, the ongoing conflict in Afghanistan, the issue of humanitarian wars, German foreign policy, the management of migration flows and Italian legislation in the field of intelligence.

He also wrote essays for the first three editions of Nomos & Khaos and edited for Nomisma the subsequent ones until 2014. Since July 2, 2018 to September 5, 2019, he served also as advisor for Delegated Affairs to the Rt. Hon. Raffaele Volpi, then Undersecretary of Defence, Italy.
